Job Description:
As the Inventory Specialist, your job will be learning all of
Our customers and items so that you can make sure we always have
what they need on time and in full. You will work across all
departments. Your main duties include ensuring inventory count is
up-to-date, logging all inventory in our ERP software program, and
ensuring that quantities of products, materials, and supplies are
maintained at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Keep track of raw materials, finished goods, shipments, incoming
deliveries, and stock
Digitally manage inventory and create inventory reports in our ERP
systems
Prevent shortages of supply and manage unexpected shortages
Order consumables as needed & as directed
Reconcile inventory differences between physical stock and digital
data in cold and Pier
Review incoming and outgoing orders
Create, update, and maintain supplier purchasing files that are
complete with pricing information
Work with production manager to ensure the proper movement on raw
materials and finished goods in our software systems.
Use software system to preform production reports
Back up to the Inventory Manger. Will need to do the following in
their absence.
Manages all freezer(s) and blast freezer inventories
Maintain financial objectives by properly scheduling deliveries of
raw materials to the correct locations, accuracy of pulls,
efficiency of pulls; and accuracy of the inventory.
Responsible for scheduling all incoming packaging and raw materials
for outside storage facilities.
Notifies us if customers' orders are not filled completely or if
they didn't ship
Notifies Purchasing, Production Manager when raw materials are
running low.
Ensures QA is made aware of all frozen incoming items for quality
checks
Ensures all production supervisors sign paperwork properly with
name, date, and piece count when receiving product into PR
location.
Ensures team members are keeping freezer doors shut to eliminate
warm/cold air from entering.
Performs additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager,
including but not limited to Production & inventory
responsibilities .

Must possess good sense and sound judgement.
Ability to grasp complex concepts easily.
Must be organized, attentive to details and have an analytical
mind.
Must be able to prioritize projects and meet critical
deadlines.
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure
environment.
Ability to operate in a systematic and logical manner.
Must be proficient with inventory software, including excel and
word and be able to create and analyzing trend reports.
Must possess good verbal and written communications skills.
Emphasis on flexibility, creative approach and problem solving.

Provides accurate and timely reporting.

Work with all departments to minimize slow turning products and
packaging
Training Requirements:
Completion of all general safety requirements.
GMP procedures.
Product knowledge and customer requirements.
OHSA knowledge requirements.
Government requirements
Personal Protective Equipment:
The use of gloves, hair net, work boots and safety glasses are
required when on production floor
Education and Experience Required:
High School Graduate and some additional professional
education.
At least 5+years of related work experience.
Work Environment:
Production floor administration office
Fast paced, High traffic area, and moderate noise levels
Working side by side other department managers and supervisors
