Filing Specialist (250000T0)ABOUT THIS POSITION:The Secretary of
State is seeking candidates for a Filing Specialist in the Input
Section of the Corporations Division. This position is responsible
for reviewing business entity and trademark and service mark
filings made with the Division. The position will also work
directly with the public and answer phone calls regarding filing
issues. In addition, this position will also be cross-trained on
other positions within the Division, when needed. This position
processes a high volume of business entity filing and requires an
attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.REPRESENTATIVE
TASKS:
- Review documents presented for filing for compliance with
applicable law.
- Assist the public in person and via email and phone regarding
filing procedures.
- Assist the public in the office with filings made in
person.
- Review Vehicle Warranty Protection Registrations and
Amendments.
- Understand business records filed with the Corporations
Division.
- Other tasks as assigned to assist in the general workflow of
the Division.KNOWLEDGES, SKILL AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers and interact well
with the public.
