Job Description:

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO), Open Learning (OL), will provide financial leadership, decision support, and strategic direction. Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the financial operations of OL, including the development of a financial and operational strategy and associated metrics.
• Monitoring and developing control systems and reporting of accurate financial results.
• Being a key member of Open Learning's leadership team.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring financial aspects of strategic business plans that align with OL's short-term and long-term goals.
• Leading the development of annual and multi-year budgets for Open Learning's units.
• Monitoring all financial aspects of the organization, including financial reporting and accounting, financial analysis, and forecasting and modeling.
• Providing financial leadership across Open Learning's various units, working closely with academic deans, faculty, and department heads to ensure alignment with institutional priorities.Job RequirementsREQUIRED: bachelor's degree; a minimum of ten years of financial management experience; and robust organizational, leadership, collaboration, and communication skills. PREFERRED: master's degree and higher education experience.
